Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and explore Yangon City staring from down town area by passing through India and Chinatown. Highlight to see is Sule Pagoda, City Hall, High Court and many colonial buildings and Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, located at the heart of the city, and visit Bogyoke market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag” velvet slippers, lacquer ware, Gems shops and all sorts of handicraft.

This morning board the local 'circle train' which runs from Yangon's main railway station in a circle around various neighborhoods in town and on the outskirts of town. The slowly traveling train gives you a unique opportunity to observe the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people. Disembark after 45 minutes - 1 hour in Insein township; one of the city's best fresh markets is here, filled with vendors and piles of colorful items for sale. Spend time walking amid the stalls examining the fruits, produce and meats on sale as well as chatting with the friendly locals. Lunch will be at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, we will proceed to visit Karaweik Royal Barge (a floating barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake). Here we will have a good opportunity for a photo shot with the background of Shwedagon Pagoda. Then, continue to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows.
